The motives, either melodic or rhythmic,\u00a0 show up several times through out the pieces in a recognizable way.\u00a0 It is not a real &#8220;repetition&#8221; since they are not exactly the same. This kind of minimalism has grown popular in recent times but since the background of the composers differs a lot, the pieces also sound completely different.
