MSc and Diploma award requirements

There are two types of MSc by Research degrees. The Digital Media and Culture programme is categorised as a type 2 MSc by Research. This programme follows the University’s Taught and Research Assessment Regulations.

Type 2 MSc by Research degrees are exempt from the following sections of the Research Assessment Regulations: 2 to 7; 35 to 38; 41 to 43. The Taught Assessment Regulations will be used in place of these exemptions:
