Postgraduate Research Methods (CACE11001)
This course is designed to support ESALA students who undertake research degrees (MPhil, PhD and MScR) in developing their research skills. It is also open to research students across the entire Edinburgh College of Art who might find it useful. This course will give students a general introduction to postgraduate research, its methodologies, its challenges and its organization, including in creative practice. More specifically, this course will support students in developing a critical framework in which to review research and research methods, taking account of the contested nature of research practice.
