Jonas Kocher – 3rd October 2013

Since John Cage, experimental music has paid greater attention to the sound universe which surrounds the musician. And since Alvin Lucier, space has been considered to be just as fundamental as time, when it comes to music.

Jonas Kocher has adapted their lessons wonderfully: his music rustles with microtones, the tapping of keys and the screeching of shutters, all of which evoke a delicate texture of viral harmonics woven together, which become lost in the air.
